Visiting North Italy in June or July is a great choice as the weather is usually warm and sunny. Here's a suggested itinerary for a 2-week trip:
Day 1-3: Milan
- Arrive in Milan and spend the first few days exploring the city's highlights, such as the famous Duomo Cathedral, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, and the Sforza Castle.
- Take a stroll around the charming Navigli District and enjoy some delicious Italian cuisine.
- Visit the famous La Scala opera house, one of the world's most renowned opera venues.
Day 4-6: Lake Como
- Take a scenic train ride to Lake Como and stay in one of the beautiful lakeside towns like Bellagio or Varenna.
- Enjoy the breathtaking views of the lake and take a boat tour around the lake to see the stunning villas and gardens.
- Go for a hike in the mountains surrounding the lake.

- Take a train to Venice, one of the most romantic cities in the world.
- Take a gondola ride along the canals, visit St. Mark's Basilica, and explore the charming streets and alleyways of the city.

Day 10-12: Florence
- Take a train to Florence, the birthplace of the Renaissance.
- Visit the Uffizi Gallery, the Accademia Gallery, and the Duomo Cathedral.
- Walk around the historic center and enjoy the stunning architecture and charming streets.
Day 13-14: Cinque Terre
- Take a train to the beautiful coastal region of Cinque Terre.
- Hike along the scenic trails that connect the five colorful villages, or take a boat ride to see them from the water.

Transportation:
- You can travel by train to most of these destinations in North Italy. Consider buying a rail pass to save money and have more flexibility.
- Alternatively, you can rent a car to explore the region at your own pace.
