WHAT IS CEFR?

CEFR stands for Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. It is a widely recognized framework that provides a common basis for describing language proficiency in a clear, structured, and comprehensive way. The framework is used to assess language skills and levels across Europe and other parts of the world. What qualifications should I look for in an Italian tutor?

You should also bring any books or materials that you are using to learn Italian. It can also help to practice speaking Italian with other people, listening to Italian podcasts, and watching Italian movies outside of your tutoring sessions.

I WANT TO LEARN ONLINE - IS THAT POSSIBLE?

Yes, I offer online Italian tutoring lessons online via Google Meet. Online tutoring gives you the ability to comfortably  learn in your chosen location, providing more flexibility around your schedule.  

I want in person lessons - where are they held?

Italian Giorno is located in Roseville, North Shore - Sydney. Lessons don't only need to take place in a classroom-style learning environment - for a culturally immersive experience learning can also take place as follows:

  • Walk and Talk Classes
  • Coffee and Chat Classes
  • Shopping at Italian places in Chatswood, North Shore Sydney
  • Translation of docs, speeches

What do I do if I need to cancel a lesson?

We understand that sometimes unforeseen circumstances can arise and appointments may need to be cancelled. However, we kindly request that you give us sufficient notice to avoid any inconvenience for Valeria and to allow us to reschedule the lesson. Please do refer to our cancellation policy in our Terms and Conditions.
